People who love A Walk to Remember (the movie, not the book) love it beyond reason. It was critically panned for a reason. But people still take the time to find A Walk to Remember quotes. My theory is that one reason for this infatuation with an otherwise bad movie is the exceptional soundtrack.

One of the 1st songs on the soundtrack is “Dare You to Move” by Switchfoot. The song was certified gold in 2005. Several other Switchfoot songs are featured on the A Walk to Remember soundtrack, but this one is my favorite.

“Only Hope” by Mandy Moore is another notable track from the movie’s soundtrack. But like many of the other songs on the soundtrack, “Only Hope” is a Switchfoot tune. Moore covered the song for the movie soundtrack, and the tune is also featured on her best of album.

But my favorite song from the soundtrack was “Mother We Just Can’t Get Enough” by the New Radicals. It was never released as a single, but it’s on the soundtrack, and it’s terrific. The song was also featured in an episode of Scrubs.
