Be Successful with Forex Software

May 7th, 2009

So, you have determined that you are interested in the world of forex trading. Now, all you need to do is learn which is the best forex trading system possible. My advice is to give yourself enough time to conduct research to find the best system.

If you have decided that you want to step into the forex world, there are a few matters you will unquestionably want to study first. If you are earnest about your decision and you truly wish to get a forex course, then you need to take these steps.

During my youth, my dad had this saying, “You know, there’s more than one way to skin a cat.” What he had in mind would take me a while to figure out. But now I understand; especially since I live on doing forex online. So what is this forex you speak of? Well, in short, automated forex is the method of controlling your foreign exchange, or forex, account on autopilot.

There are many other ways that you can educate yourself about automated forex. One of the best ways you can educate yourself on the topic is to have a tutor of sorts. If you happen to know someone who is knowledgeable in forex trading, then you may want to ask them if he or she would be inclined to assist you in learning automated forex. If having a tutor is not an option for you, then you will need to either buy or download a course, or open a practice account and begin practicing trading in a simulated forex trading market.

How Everyone Benefits From Submitting Articles For Publication

May 6th, 2009

Who are the three groups of people that benefit from publishing articles and how do they all benefit from this activity? Firstly there is the author of the article, then the article directory where it is published and finally the visitors to the directory who read the article.

There are numerous benefits that each of these groups get out of this process.

What’s The Purpose of Article Directories

Most articles are submitted by webmasters (anyone who has a website) and the content of the article would closely match the theme of their website. The author of the article is entitled to include a resource box at the end of the article where they can promote their product / services and include a link back to their website.

Some directories allow one or two links within the body of the article, but they must not be perceived as advertising or blatant affiliate links. If this is allowed, then the link must be relevant to the context of the article. As this facility has been abused in the past, not as many directories allow this anymore.

Tip: My advice is to not to put any links in the body, because if your article is rejected, you have to go back and resubmit and all this can cause considerable delays before your article is published. If you think it is absolutely necessary to mention a specific site, then do so but do not make it a hyperlink.

e.g www.mysite.com

The Article Directory Benefits By:

* Free source of content for their sites

* Large volumes of qualified (visitors interested in the content) free traffic

* Generate income from context (related to content) based advertising

Visitors To The Directory Benefits From:

* Free source of quality articles

* Permitted to include articles on their own sites provided they make no changes to the article and leave the resource box and links intact

Publishers / Authors Benefit By:

* Good quality links back to their websites, which improves their rankings with search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN.

* Anytime someone reads the article and clicks on the links, they get a free visitor to their website or affiliate URL.

A good idea is to get some help in the form of step by step instructions and coaching videos designed specifically for newbies.

If you are a newbie struggling to make sense of internet marketing and want to find out more about writing / submitting articles and how anyone can now make profits from selling info products, Internet Business Buddy provides you with all the help you need. Widespread Criticism Greets Insurers’ Move against Pleural Plaques Law

May 6th, 2009

The Damages (Asbestos-related Conditions) (Scotland) Act, which gives hope of compensation to people suffering from pleural plaques in Scotland, was passed with a large number of votes in its favour by the Scottish Parliament, and got the Royal approval recently. The Act departs from a 2007 House of Lords decision that went against compensation in the UK, and provides some relief to sufferers in Scotland.

The largest UK insurers are now opposing this Act, with a demand for judicial review of the Act being made by Aviva, Axa, RSA and Zurich Insurance before the Court of Session in Edinburgh.

The insurers’ challenge to the Act has resulted in widespread criticism, as it will deny the victims of pleural plaques any protection or remedy. Ian McFall, Thompsons Solicitors’ Head of Asbestos Policy, said that this action by the insurers shows their apathy towards the workers’ right to compensation for the damage caused to their health by extended asbestos exposure.

According to McFall, the move by the insurers could delay justice for pleural plaques victims in the rest of the UK too. He spoke out against the action, stating that it was taken in spite of there being strong medical support for the claim that pleural plaques cause great irreversible harm to the lungs due to asbestos, and lead to increased chances of serious diseases like mesothelioma.

He further added that the victims of pleural plaques should not be made to wait and that the Government should announce its plan for England and Wales. According to an assurance given by the Prime Minister, the government’s decision on the issue will be announced after the Easter break. McFall suggested that the government should ignore the Scottish judicial review petition and quickly resolve this matter.

All staff and management must be fully aware of and comply with health and safety regulations as laid down by law. Find out about the range of iosh courses available from the experts at Workplace Law Training.

RFID Software Guide 101

May 6th, 2009

RFID is the abbreviated form of Radio Frequency Identification. RFID is akin to the bar codes but in RFID the electro magnetic coupling is used to transmit signals. The main components of an RFID are silicon chips, an antenna and a transceiver that can be used anytime and anywhere. The passive RFID tags require no power source while active ones with power backup.

RFID is like a tag in which information and instructions are stored. It can be used in a car manufacturing, into a dog collar etc. An RFID system can range up to 90 feet. Unlike barcode technology, RFID does not require line-of-sight reading on which a bar code depends and RFID scanning can be done at greater distances than bar code scanning.

RFID has a plethora of uses. While initially the technology was just confined to tracing or identifying dogs, for a means of permanent identification number, the uses of RFID have simply multiplied over the years. Today RFID technology is seen in almost every field. Be it medicine, education (like library work), shipping, electronic devices automobiles, musical instruments, tracking movements of individuals via their passports etc., everywhere the RFID technology is at work.

RFID is becoming more widespread due to the manufacturing of RFID software. For instance lately technology company Intermec has created a new kind of intelligent RFID reader that can automatically route and manage information from RFID tags from remote locations, by using the IBM’s WebSphere Device Infrastructure (WRDI). WRDI is basically an open-standards-based software platform that can be embedded in RFID devices. The software facilitates its users with automatic data collection and reporting from remote sites that do not have their own IT support systems. The software also helps to filter or refine the incoming data on the basis of pre-defined criteria or relevance and send only the requisite info to the application server of the company. WRDI is not just effective in de-cluttering of the data network traffic but it also enables in taking on-board decisions. The software is instrumental in integrating and reconciling the RFID data with information garnered from various business sections.

The IBSS (Integrated Business Service Systems) innovation of Synapse based software has also proved to be a boon for the corporate world. This software named SynTrack Mobile Asset Management keeps a record of costly assets of an enterprise as they move across different locations. The software can locate a hierarchy of zones, tags and tags groups. It provides a real time location of the assets being tracked by continuously updating the user interface.

Besides these big organizations a remarkable attempt has been made by a group of Malaysian. Using the RFID technology the students have invented a software program or a device known as Object Identification Information Network (Odin) to solve the practical problems of people.

The Sun Java System RFID Software has also shown commendable performance in the market. This software is Sun’s unique RFID middleware platform offering that is based on largely accepted industry standards including those defined by the EPC global. The software provides a foundation for deploying the EPC Network for a company. The design of this software imparts high levels of reliability and scalability for EPC Network while also simplifying the task of integrating with multiple existing back-end enterprise systems.

Does It Summarize?

May 4th, 2009

I go through an interesting writing exercise regularly: I take magazine articles and write abstracts of them for a newsletter client.

The challenge involves taking an article, one that normally ranges from 1,000 to 3,000 words, and condensing it into a few hundred words. That means I need to get the essence of the article squarely in my sights and to write about it in my own words.

When I go through that exercise, I’m amazed at the number of articles, many from highly respected business magazines, that don’t have internal integrity.

An article has internal integrity when the writer started out with a central idea, developed it well, and reached a conclusion involving that idea. For example, the writer might start with an anecdote, using the anecdote to illustrate a problem.

She then goes on to explain why this problem deserves our attention. That’s followed by one or several potential solutions, and the pros and cons of each one, along with a recommendation or two. She concludes the article by summarizing the problem, the alternative solutions, and her recommendation then links back to the opening anecdote. That’s just one story development model, but one that works.

As I say, many articles don’t have that kind of integrity. Some miss one or more parts of the model, others get them in the wrong order, and some don’t have a model at all, just the non-fiction equivalent of stream-of-consciousness (a fiction model).

You can ensure your writing has internal integrity — whether for memos, articles, instructions or anything else — by taking measures before or after your write. Perhaps the most familiar strategy is the preliminary outline. Before you start writing, you set out the elements you’ll address.

Another possibility is to go back to your message afterward and write a short abstract, and ask yourself whether or not it makes sense. Does the story flow logically and clearly? Do you see any part of your model that might be missing?

A third possibility is just to set aside your writing for a few days, and then look at it later with fresh eyes.

Whichever you technique your choose, and that’s mostly a matter of your personal style, your writing will get better results if it has internal integrity.

Writing Consultant Asks: Guess Who Is Reading Your Articles?

May 3rd, 2009

With over 575 articles to my credit at one ezine site, I’ve been able to track their performance across several categories.

And the results may surprise you.

Unlike the adage, “If you build it, they will come;” if you write articles, the best readers, the ones most capable of helping your career or enterprise, will NOT necessarily find them.

As a matter of fact, a piece of wisdom gleaned from the behavioral sciences applies. Because people are highly selective in approaching and avoiding certain types of information, you can be assured that in all probability, the people you want to read your stuff will NOT be in your audience of ezine readers.

Now for the numbers. Of my 575 articles, guess which ones are read the most?

Are they those that deal with sales, success, customer service, and telemarketing issues or with coaching or consulting?

No, the most read are articles about WRITING, read by other writers.

In marketing terms, this is like preaching to the choir or kissing your sister (or brother, as the case may be).

WRITERS are readers, tire kickers, Lookie-Lou’s, and not buyers, at least of what I have for sale.

The site at which you may be reading this piece boasts having over 25,500 writers.

Guess who is reading what you’re writing?

Largely, it’s them.

Ask yourself: Do I have anything that they want to buy, need or absolutely must buy?

If the answer is no, reconsider the wisdom of posting your articles.

Instead, find a way of getting them in front of the people you really want to impress!
