Gaming Laptops To Turn Thin And Sexy

June 24th, 2008

Notebook computer shipments are estimated to be around 126million units this year, which is gigantic! So big demand but little supply according to what manufacturers are forcasting. Laptops have just been an amazing market to follow. There has been no drop in shipments. The technology loops are so tiny too which makes it all the more of an up hill struggle.

Laptops are becoming more acceptable for gaming due to continuing performance increases. I think gaming laptops have never been cheaper. You can grab some really good offers out there that will get you gaming. Gaming frame rates on laptops is fairly good considering the factors at play so if you require mobilility they give a good choice. Even more indredible these days I think is how slim the chassis’s are becoming especially when you think about much performance is in them. Ok so there remains a gap in power no matter how good gaming laptops have become but that should always exist. Gaming laptops will without a doubt become slimmer and more powerful in the coming years and it will be interesting to witness.

Despite the fact that the market share is controlled by brands selling via retail channels I think the direct channel and custom built laptops will forever be here. With tier 1 companies you normally don’t have a clue what they fit into the notebook. By being able to choose exactly what you require you can even hold back some money in a handfull of deals. Laptops distributed in stores are commonly manufactured for the mass market and possibly this isn’t you. Custom laptops offer a work around to this. I think you also get better service when getting a custom laptop. Once again another point to custom built laptops.

The latest laptop computer technology will be breathtaking. Laptops totally for surfing the net etc are hitting the market wave after wave. Its funny how devices designed for the developing countries have become a trend in the developed nations. I think the market would like to see larger notebooks that weigh a ton less than todays machines. I guess getting an attractive price point is a massive roadblock in all this. Certainly the technology is available. It would not shock me to see featherweight gaming laptops in the next 5 years time. All the manufacturers are seeking to come out with the next massive thing so it’ll be exciting to survey.

I actually like the gaming notebooks at http://www.rizeon.com/gaming_laptops/page.php
