Marxism: an inescapable road to tyranny and murder

This recent work by David Horowitz is profound, personal and a passionately argued analysis and refutation of this century’s most cherished secular god, the socialist utopian state and the ideology that it is built upon. This work is nothing short of brilliant. While not lengthy, this work by Horowitz is one of the most important of the decade because of its substantiated thesis linking socialist ideology with religious presuppositions. Because socialism is a religiously held ideology, it is able to continue or perpetuate itself generation after generation despite its complete failure to achieve anything positive in history. In essence, socialism is a depravity that resides within the hearts of men, manifesting itself as theft and envy towards one’s neighbors. Socialism uses the power and force of government to achieve this perverse goal of theft towards one’s neighbor’s goods (usually called redistribution).

Horowitz shows how socialism once gaining political power inevitably uses the state to steal from its citizens and tyrannize them and consequently can never hold the allegiance of the people once in power except through brute military and police state power. Socialism is another name or face of Marxism or communism. Socialism has perfected this brute military and police state force into an evil art form. This is the only thing Marxism has perfected, brutal tyranny. If it were not for the religious dogmatic nature of socialism, which Horowitz demonstrates conclusively, this present work in and of itself would constitute a deathblow to the arrogant cult of Marxism. Horowitz gives us a rare look into the ethically depraved secular religious mindset that governs the left.

Those on the left in this country have given themselves to a religion hell bent on using the very freedom they enjoy (a product of the West) to destroy the very foundation of freedom in the West. This is an example of socialism living off the borrowed capital of those whom they are trying to destroy. Socialism always dresses up or covers its real intent or designs with expressive emotional speech utilizing undefined terms such as social justice. In reality, as Horowitz demonstrates repeatedly, socialism has not produced freedom anywhere in history. The author convincingly establishes that the attempts to construct utopian socialist dreams have never produced anything in history except misery and death for untold millions.

Horowitz persuasively connects the socialist ideology or the socialist “idea” with the terror that is the inevitable result of the implementation of this “idea” in history. Speaking of the Marxist revolutionaries in Russia he writes: “Though they had cast an entire nation into a living hell, they had to maintain the liberating truth of the socialist Idea. And because the Idea was no longer believable, they had to make the people believe it by force. It was the socialist idea that created the terror” (107). Most certainly, the results are always the same and predictable whether being Germany’s Nazi nationalist socialism, the Soviet (Gulag) Union, bloody Red-China, small time imitators such as Vietnam, the Cambodian “killing fields” or the island prison Cuba, it is always political tyranny. Or, as Horowitz explains this political terror, Stalinism being the most consistent and brutal expression as follows: “Stalinism is not just a possible interpretation of Marxism. In the annals of revolutionary movements, it is the prevailing one” (91).

With millions now dead and millions more living in the most backward of economic conditions and police state oppression, do the socialists admit a connection between their ideology and the results? With all the hallmarks of religious cultism, the socialists continue in denial and to believe (through the most amazing mental gymnastics) in the socialist “dream.” The left, like all religious cultists, tolerates no dissent. Horowitz painfully recounts how some of his closest former comrades have in effect disowned him (another hallmark of cultism). Horowitz has laid bare the suicidal depraved nature of socialist hypocrisy and the mindset of destruction slavishly adhered to by those on the left. Those committed to the cult of Marxism are trying to impose a hellish form of penance (destruction of freedom and prosperity) on everyone to assuage their own guilt.

Horowitz establishes the inescapable conclusion that: “The reign of socialist terror is the responsibility of all those who have promoted the socialist Idea, which required so much blood to implement, and then did not work” (108). Thus it can be said, ideas have consequences, and those who promote socialist ideology share the blame along with the enforcers for the death and misery that have resulted everywhere this perversion has been forced upon human beings. Accordingly, this work will absolutely make those on the left gnash their teeth and rend their clothes. Indeed, the chapter “A Radical Holocaust” will agitate the “PC” crowd, but more importantly will flush out the ideological allies of western styled Marxists. This work is truly magnificent. David, give us more.

Golf Clubs – Your Golf Putting – Use These Putting Practice Tips

May 29th, 2008

To begin a golf game, your golf practice game or your golf putting practice; study the art of keeping your eye on the golf ball. It seems to be just natural to let your eyes follow the backswing. To correct this you might turn the golf ball until the brand is on top. Then just keep your eyes on that.

When putting, think of the golf swing as a pendulum and as you move through this area, strike the golf ball with the sweet spot only.

How do you find the sweet spot? Hold your putter using the thumb and forefinger. You are dangling it now and letting it swing.

With the other forefinger tap the putter blade until the putter
head rebounds straight back in perfect alignment. That is the
sweet spot for this putter. Some players mark it.

To judge the distance of the backswing try this exercise. Use
your right big toe as an anchor and take the putter back to your right big toe.

Now, being consistent with your speed accelerate the club head through the ball and watch how far the ball rolls. You might try this in both wet and dry conditions. This gives you the ability to gauge from there how long the backswing should be for the putt you are facing.

If your distance is shorter, adjust then, for how far inside the right big toe your swing should be. Adjust outside the toe
for the longer putt. Get a feel for this and you will know how
far to take the putter back.

Again, it is a feeling. Accelerate through the ball and make sure your follow through is longer than your backswing. Concentrate on feeling the putter accelerate through the short putts.

In summary; You are trying consciously to get a feel for the art in your golf game. You will succeed. It just takes practice.

Irish Island in the Caribbean

May 29th, 2008

Irish culture is alive and well on the “Emerald Isle” of the Caribbean.

St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated as a national holiday in only two places in the world – the country of Ireland, and the Caribbean island of Montserrat. The national flag of Montserrat depicts the legendary female Irish figure Erin playing an ancient Irish harp.

And the green shamrock is stamped on every visitors passport upon entry to the island, and the shamrock is also carved on the door of the Governor’s house.

The national dish of the island, Goat Water, also has an Irish origin. It is a stew made of kidney or mutton, and is spiced with cloves and rum.

As you travel around Montserrat, you’ll find familiar sounding Irish names such as Kinsale, Delvins, St. Patrick’s and Cork Hill on the streets, establishments and towns. And, the islands phone directory lists the generations of the Ryans, O’Briens, Daleys, Sweeneys, Gibbons, and so many more.

You have to go back to 17th century history to find the first origins of this lasting Irish culture. The English defeated the Irish, and sent them to the island of Montserrat to serve as indentured servants, and they worked along side the African slaves.

As the Irish served out their servitude, some migrated to other islands in the Caribbean, but the majority of Irish decided to make Montserrat their home. It was in this period that six of the islands 17th century Governor’s were of Irish descent.

Together the decendants of the original Irish prisoners, and African slaves blended a society that maintained the strong Irish influence mixed with the African culture. The present day society is certainly one of the most unusual in the history of the Caribbean islands.

Montserrat is currently making a comeback with tourism. Visitors are surprised to find the island rebounding from the destructive volcanic eruption in 1997 which buried the former capital city of Plymouth in ashes.

While the former capital remains buried, and is an unusual tourist site in the region, the rest of the island offers breathtaking green scenery. Volcanos bring new life, and Montserrat is no exception with its emerald green mountains, exotic dark sand beaches, and pristine reefs just waiting to be explored.

Montserrat, prior to the eruption, was once a vacation paradise for jet setters and movie stars. This island is posturing itself for a renewed tourist industry with a new capital city, and brand new airport. Visitors will find affordable lodging, plenty of restaurants, secluded beaches and a first class diving destination.

This isn’t a destination for everyone, but if your idea of a Caribbean vacation is lots of natural beauty, extensive hiking trails, first class diving, uncrowded beaches, and an opportunity to see a former city that is a modern day Pompeii, then the Emerald Green Isle is the only place in the Caribbean that will deliver all that, and perhaps a bit of Irish culture.

Oakland Raiders Offense

May 29th, 2008

After the Raider’s offseason makeover, many analysts are predicting that their offense will be one of the best in the NFL. This expectation is not based on any actual evidence, but rather on conjecture. It would be wise to see the Raiders play before making such a prediction. Last year, all the teams with good offenses had one thing in common: a good offensive line. Look at the Packers, the Colts, or the Chiefs. Everything for those teams started not with the supposed “skill” positions, but with the offensive line. The Colts and Packers had one Pro Bowl lineman each last year, while the Chiefs had 3. The Raiders had no Pro Bowl lineman last year. In addition, despite acquiring Randy Moss and Lamont Jordan, they made no attempt to remake their offensive line. True, they have Robert Gallery, who might be a Pro Bowler next year. But they were the worst rushing team in the NFL last year, which can partly be attributed to the line. It’s true that their running backs last year were horrible, but Lamont Jordan might not be much better. He has never seen a full season of action, and he is an unknown at this point. He could be one of the best running backs in the league, or a colossal bust. The Raiders took a huge risk in bringing him in. Unless the line can open holes for him, he will not be able to produce. Until this line proves its prowess, it’s too early to anoint this offense as one of the NFL’s best.

Another obstacle to the Raiders offense being great is Kerry Collins. All of the best offenses in the NFL last year had a great or at least good QB (See the Vikings, Colts, Packers, and Chiefs). Kerry Collins might be neither. Last year, he had a passer rating of 75. Tony Banks has a career passer rating of 72.5. Kerry Collins also threw for 21 touchdowns and 20 interceptions in his first year in Oakland. These are not numbers that a good quarterback would put up. Let’s look at Joey Harrington, who is in danger of losing his job in Detroit to Jeff Garcia. Last year, he had a QB rating of 77.5 and 19 touchdowns to 12 interceptions. They both had a completion percentage of 56%, while Collins threw for 3500 yards versus Harrington’s 3000. With these numbers, I would rather have Joey Harrington as my starter, as bad as he is. Randy Moss, Oakland’s biggest offseason acquisition, has always had good quarterbacks throwing to him, with Randall Cunningham and Daunte Culpepper. How will he fare with the strong-armed, but inconsistent Kerry Collins? Unless Collins steps up, I don’t think this team will be able to step up. And I’m not sure if he’s capable to doing so. His career high in touchdowns is 22, his career high completion percentage is 61, and his career high passer rating is 85. Randy Moss alone had 14 touchdowns last year. Collins just isn’t a good quarterback. And without a good quarterback, it’s hard to have a good offense, no matter how good your receivers are.

Local Mexican Restaurants

May 29th, 2008

When going out to eat at a local Mexican Restaurant it is important to consider the cleanliness of the operation before dining and to make sure that your family is safe. Most local Mexican Restaurants with good reputations are fine. However if you are not sure, you may wish to check it out first. One way to do this is to drive by or look around the back the day before your visit and see if it is clean behind the restaurant and check to see if the workers are wearing shirts or not. If they are hanging around out back and have matted hair and loosely fit clothes and no shirts on, this is a clue that there are issues. Remember that with Mexican food there are lots of cold lettuce and other condiments around the dishes, which are not cooked.

Additionally when you first sit down you may wish to look at the classes and the bottom of the tray with the chips in it to see if they have been cleaned recently. There should be no spots on the glasses and no sticky left over food on the chip tray. Another smart thing to do is to look at the servers and if they look like they are groomed nicely. If you see signs, which are not to your liking, simply leave and make a really good excuse that it is a family emergency and you are so sorry. It is essential to be very careful in restaurants, which may be more inclined to hire illegal labor, who may have diseases. But that is not just a good plan for Mexican Food Restaurants by all restaurants. Think on this in 2006.

Instant Success – Yeh Right.

May 29th, 2008

Join our affiliate-program and make your fortune overnight.

Sound familiar ?

How many times have you received email to say that
by joining company X you will have instant success.

And how many websites suggest by using their system
you can build an instant list of thousands.

It is possible for the major players on the Internet, but
what they don’t tell you is that most of the people these
“players” signup in a new Internet company are already
on their opt-in list.

Here are some well used concepts used in promoting
new Internet Companies.

Believe it or not !

1. It will only take you 5 hours each week.

Correct if,

(a) you only want to earn a few $`s

(b) you already have a large optin list to promote to.

(c) you have M-oney to invest in advertising.

(d) you are totally organized, focused and a natural marketer.

What they don`t tell you.

With commitment and the proper training, yes it is possible.

2. Its easy, anyone can make M-oney online.

But only if you have some business background or the
Company supplies you with quality training, support
and any other tools you need to promote their product.
You also need a supportive sponsor and up-line, who are
willing to help when needed.

3. Its soooo easy that everyone is do-ing it.

“Slight Exaggeration” here as only about 20% of US families
or adults are currently members of Internet companies. There
are many other people who are promoting Amway and other
Companies but not over the internet. It is estimated that 50%
of Americans will have had, or will be operating some sort of
business from the comfort of home by the end of next year.

Most experts suggest only about the top 5% of Internet
Marketers are making a good income and another 10%
are part time earners.

4. By working over the Internet you will be able to work
your own hours.

Yes this statement is true, but you still have to “work”

Yes you have more flexibility on when you work, say early
in the morning or in the evening if you are part time. You
still need to put in the hours, so having a plan and a set of goals
is an advantage. If you don`t reach your goals then you will
need to re-access them, are they realistic or do you need to
increase the hours you work to succeed or take a different
approach.

5. Our system guarantees success.

What is success, my idea on success will differ from yours.

Many websites offer a number of tools and provide promotion
material but not everyone knows how to best utilize them. This
is where training and support is a must. Provide it to your downline
and expect it from your up-line.

Ongoing quality training and support are the two most under
estimated “tools” or requirements many companies “say” they
provide but either not everyone has access or knows how to
use them.

6. Its so easy you will make m-oney even while you sleep.

This is a fact, the Internet does not sleep, but you will only
make m-oney from sales or signups if you put in the effort.

7. Its cool because I don`t have to talk with people face to face.

Sure you can sit at your computer and promote your website,
send out emails to prospects, network on ICQ and Ryze etc…

But you will find the big players are always talking to prospects
either on the phone or while at the shops and gas station.

I personally have my ICON Communicator open most of the day
while I am online and most days I will have a person (guest) who
I have never meet log in, so I have to know the product or services
I am promoting to be able to share or answer any questions my
may guest has.

The more practice you have at speaking to strangers the more
comfortable and at ease you become. And this is coming from
someone who doesn`t like public speaking.

Practice makes perfect.

8. F`R`E`E

One of the most powerful 4 letter words ever devised by man.

Can you promote on the internet for f`ree.

The hidden costs. You need a computer, power to run the
computer, an Internet connection, office supplies….

Yes it is possible to promote your chosen company or
service for minimum cost, but it will usually take longer
to get those positive results. Time is m-oney. What is your
time worth? Any business requires time and usually some
investment to get off the ground.

9. Build yourself a website and watch the sales roll in.

I recommend every Internet Marketer should have their
own website for a number of reasons. First is that you are
able to create introduction pages to companies, products
or services. You are then able to send out email using a
URL or website link that won`t be filtered by ISP`s as
they are known to filter or delete email that contains
affiliated links.

Secondly there are very few search engines that you can
list your affiliated website with. So by having your own
Domain and website you are able to list it with search
engines. But again by being listed does not necessarily
guarantee you sales.

10. You “will” receive spillover.

Some companies and individuals promote to prospects
that they will receive spillover.

I must be really missing something here as I can count on
my fingers the number of people I have received in my
downline as spillover in 3 years on the internet.

Yes spillover does happen for some, but don`t count on it.

Some suggestions.

When starting any business you need to have a plan of
action and a maximum budget you can spend on products
or services to advertise and promote your business.

Register a domain and create a website.

Only consider joining companies where you have full access
to support, regular training, provide popular or unique, sort
after products that offer a residual income with a positive
compensation plan.

A company I can happily recommend to any first time
marketers is ItsYourNet. They offer special trainings
on building websites, publishing Ezines, using ICQ for
networking along with marketing and even supply you
f`ree of cost, top quality software to keep your computer
safe.

The ItsYourNet “back office area” has an ever increasing
list of promotional material and resources.

The product range is also being added to, in the next week
we will see the release of the 3D Virtual web system and
the 3D virtual mall will soon be opened for business too.

If you want to learn more about the ItsYourNet 0pportunity
visit http://main-10534pg.ItsYourNet.com become a f`ree
affiliated member and get access to the a truly amazing

One of the pluses is the website id ItsYourNet provides you
to use in email. Each member receives a sub-domain for each page

Wedding Favors That Embrace Nature’s Beauty

May 29th, 2008

A wedding planned in the spirit of nature provides the perfect opportunity for selecting wedding favors fashioned after elegant symbols consisting of, but not limited to maple leaves, butterflies, lavender buds, and roses. While there is certainly no shortage of wedding favors available today that are inspired by nature, those that are carefully designed with distinctive style and artistic detail remain popular choices.

As brides aim to locate the perfect wedding favors to reflect their personality and style, many look for favors made with exquisite details and designs inspired by nature such as embroidery or hand painting. Some examples include fabric containers made of silk and organza that are illustrated with floral landscapes or imagery. Besides attractive textures, color is another arena that brides have explored greatly as they sift through the astounding variety of favor bags in the hope of finding one that fits well within their wedding color scheme. The favorite color for nature-inspired weddings ranges from iridescent colors of red and orange to soft pastel colors in yellow and green.

These embroidered and hand-painted details are often found in wedding favor bags made from organza, which remains one of the most elegant and affordable fabrics. However, it is important to keep in mind that while organza bags come in a multitude of shapes, sizes, and prices, be sure to find high quality organza fabric that neither frays nor easily tears as a result of handling. Of course, details such as embellished ribbons with unique pearl accents and beads have become the de rigueur, as brides have become more creative and discerning when searching for the ultimate favor bag.

When all is said and done, what would elegant organza or silk bags with embroidered or painted floral embellishments be without a delicious treat or personal memento tucked inside them. Use fillings that are also inspired by nature that include soothing chamomile tea, delicious maple sugar candy, or delightful iced sugar cookies that are rendered in floral shapes to extend a nature-inspired theme. No matter what filling may be desired, finding the ideal wedding favor for the nature-loving bride comes with exciting options, but only the perfect favor for today’s demanding bride will make her top choice – those made with superior details and reflect the sophisticated taste of the bride and groom.

How Does Phentermine Work

May 29th, 2008

The appetite suppressant Phentermine can be used effectively only on short-term basis and must be taken as part of a regular diet and exercise program. Used properly, Phentermine can produce amazing results.

A physician must be consulted as the dosage must be strictly regulated Phentermine is usually started in small doses. Short-term use is recommended to avoid side effects such as behavioral changes. Long-term use is ineffective as the pill stops working once the body develops immunity in about 6 or weeks.

Behavorial changes in cases of too high a dosage may include side effects such as those usually associated with “”speed”" or “”uppers”". This makes a person erratic, and sometimes makes them feel sharper or smarter. These of course are just illusions of the chemical. Be very careful, and don’t just take the doctor’s word for it when you research phentermine. Because of the decreasing effects over time, you may feel tempted to self-administer an increased dosage for the same effect. This can be disastrous. Always follow the directions, and never take more than is neccesary to lose weight.

Phentermine, like other amphetamines, confuses the neurotransmitters connected to the brain. As a result, the brain does not receive a hunger signal. This succeeds in reducing the appetite as the brain sends out satiation signals instead of hunger signals. The brain gets a wrong message of satiety due to the raised leptin levels. Overall results include loss of appetite, more energy expenditure and ultimately weight reduction due to decreased fat stored in the body.

Phentermine Pills provides detailed information on phentermine pills, cheap phentermine pills, how does phentermine work, ordering phentermine diet pills and more. Phentermine Pills is affiliated with Information On Eating Disorders.
